We will send your item to you by the quickest route possible. Our picking, packing, and dispatch process is very smooth, and in many cases you will get the item(s) on a next day service. To be on the safe side however, you should always try to allow up to 5 working days. If an item is on back order, or is a personalised gift, delivery can take 5-10 workings days.

In such cases we will inform you of the specifics by email once you place your order. If you wish to contact us in advance regarding a specific delivery date, you can do so at cs@littlesardines.com. If the item has been selected as a birthday gift (eg from your reminder email) we will arrange delivery on, or just before, the birthday.

If your order comes to more than £50 delivery is FREE to one address. Otherwise, we charge packing and delivery at cost. For smaller value items this can be as low as £1.95 rising to a maximum of £4.95 for our larger items (up to 20kg). For most items delivery charges will be approximately £3.50-£3.95

If you are sending items to multiple addresses, the delivery charge will apply for each separate address. We will try to dispatch your entire order in one delivery but in some cases it may be sent it over more than one delivery. You will not incur any additional delivery charges if this does occur. Delivery charges are always clearly shown during the checkout process and you can ‘enter your postcode’ and a get a delivery estimate for any item to any particular address before you proceed to our payment pages.

We reserve the right to charge more for delivery as appropriate in exceptional circumstances. For example, if the order is to be delivered to a remote area (see below), or for very large or valuable items. We will always contact you in advance to discuss the options before making additional delivery charges. Deliveries to the Scottish highlands and islands (e.g. postcodes starting AB, IV, KA, PH, PA and KW) will incur an additional delivery charge. Deliveries to the Isle of Man and Northern Ireland may also incur a delivery surcharge depending on the item and delivery method.

If you need an item very urgently, email cs@littlesardines.com or call 01628 940 118 and we will do all we can to get it to you next day. If that is not possible for your chosen item will help you choose an alternative.

Delivery will be made using either our next day courier UKMail, or the Royal Mail.

UK Mail (formerly Business Post Group) is the one of the largest express delivery companies in the UK, operating a national network of more than 50 sites and 3,500 vehicles. We will decide on the best option depending on the combination of the item size, the location of the delivery and the urgency of delivery.

Orders will generally be delivered during office hours and may require a signature. Please consider having it sent to a work address if this is more convenient for daytime delivery. 

In the case of deliveries by Royal Mail, if there is no one to take delivery, a card will be left giving instructions on how to collect the package from your local sorting office or re-arrange delivery.

For deliveries by courier, if there is no one to take delivery a card will be left giving instructions on how to re-arrange delivery.

Of course. You can specify different billing and delivery addresses if that suits you. If the delivery address is one you are likely to use in the future you should consider saving in ‘my addresses’ in your account.

Orders can also be delivered to countries outside the UK, but these will incur additional delivery charges. There may also be import duties to pay depending on the destination country. We will quote you for delivery to your chosen destination, but any any additional customs or import duty charges are solely your responsibility. You can get an automatic estimate of delivery charges to any UK postcode, or foreign destination, before the checkout process, by simply entering your postcode or destination country in the box provided.

You can place orders from most countries worldwide for delivey within the UK without any problem or additional costs. All you will need is a valid credit card or Paypal account.
